I believe I have learned more about programming games within the last semester. I have learned about the programming codes and the hardware that makes it all work. I have learned this information because in this class we have to use the program to develop our game. This class has taught me a lot of information about the Flash program and it's purpose.

Using Civic Ideas in STEM

There are several games that can include civics, news literacy, or citizenship of nature and still are included in the STEM category. One is the game can talk about science throughout histiory and the player will learn about the past. Another is the mechanics used to print newspapers in the country. Finally, a game could be about how Columbus sailed to America and the ship that brought him. 

Favorite Gaming System

My favorite gaming system is Xbox 360 because I believe that it has better graphics than PS3 and Wii.  The Xbox also has more varity of games to play.  On weekdays I don't play more than a hour because I'm tired and I have to much homework.  However, on the weekends, I play about 2 hours per day.

Favorite Experience

My favorite experience in this class is creating a video game with my classmates. It allows me to discover what video game programs have to go through to create the games that I love to play. It also shows the creative side to computer programming. It is also a great experience to see my classmates' games and how they want to a video game.

Respect Our Military

Everyone should respect our military because they are dying to defend our way of life. If there was nobody in the military, then other countries would take over and probably kill us. The military in the past have provided us with this free country to live in. Without the military, the U.S.A would not be the land that it is today.

Sound

We plan to have the main character have his own theme song to help provoke the player to complete the game.  The song will be inspiring to the player. The evil character will also have a theme song that is just as evil as he is. The game will be enhanced by the music and it will help the player in learning about technology.
